If you enjoy reading this blog (which hopefully someone out there does) then I would be very grateful for your votes in the Witanagemot Blog Awards 2008. There are lots of categories to vote in but you don’t have to vote in all of them. CLICK HERE if you think this blog is worth a mention.

Thanks Bill - it’s a great honour for me to be plugged by
a deceitful and corrupt MPsuch a fine, upstanding and respected member of public life.Candid // July 18, 2008 at 3:54 pm
That was excellent - I put you down for most of them - even ‘The blogger I’d most like to…..well….. you know’!

Better that than the award for ‘Blogger most likely to have bi-polar disorder’

Voted.
Shame you can’t put URLs in (not enough text space). Someone’s going to have to do some Googling!

Not sure what made you think I didn’t vote for you on that one too!

I voted:
Yourself as best Conservative blog, best right-wing blog (I actually hate the great majority of them, you’re the only one who both writes well & seems like a good drinking companion)
Alix Mortimer as the best Lib Dem blogger
Bob Piper as the best Labour blogger, best sense of humour
The Nameless One as the best minor party blogger (would have been The Devil’s Kitchen if he didn’t go ludicrously over the top so often)
Ministry of Truth as best left-wing blogger
Liberal Democrat Voice as best centre blog
The Tory Troll as best blog by a pro journalist
Hopi Sen for ” Blogger most likely to vote for a donkey if you slapped the correct colour rosette on it ”
“Blogger you would most like to shag”… perhaps you could try & guess? It was a woman, I’ll tell you that much.
The rest I either left blank or don’t want to tell you…
I suppose my opinions aren’t the most valid ones ever held, as at least half the blogs I come across enrage me so much that I don’t read them

I looked at the nominations the other day but my attention span simply isn’t up to it. I will try again later.

You can leave a lot of it blank if you’d prefer.
Also, vote for Hell Patrol, which was updated a few minutes ago with an especially strong post
