Maybe he had had the usual few pints which students seem to be able to afford…..

Quite possibly. Having no recollection of an event as a student is hardly exonerating, and it means that he hasn’t actually denied it happened.

This time 2 years ago I was a student, not taking my finals very seriously. My favourite period was just after finals, before I had to leave for good. A month of glory

And did you join the Conservative Party in that month?

No. But I did go to Conservative Future meetings as a guest, become more and more right-wing as I carried on drinking, and end up agreeing with the ones who were virtually UKIP members by the end of the night

Nick clegg!
Pile of manure.
He was pivotal in the recent vote for a referendum.
If his party had demanded one, instead of the half-assed cowardly actions that libs always take, more lab MPs would have had the balls to go against broon, and we’d have got a referendum, or a new gov’t, and we’d be out of the stinking corrupt shiite heap they call EUSSR.
Lets face it, clegg is a congenital liar, like broon.
He rather be labeled a no-memory moron than tell the truth.
Truth is not in his DNA, and that is the basic life-time qualification for being a politician.

“cowardly” is precisely how I would describe his behaviour over the referendum.
