Letters From A Tory

After blogging yesterday about the John Lewis list used for MPs’ expenses and also noting the media reaction to the story, I was expecting MPs to take a long, hard look at the situation and really ask themselves what would be the best response to this situation.  With voters’ faith in politicians at an all-time low, I was mildly optimistic that MPs would put their heads together and come up with a sensible solution that would help restore belief in politics once again.  Sadly, my optimism was misplaced.
