Letters From A Tory

Thought for the day

As the Northern Rock crisis and the EU Treaty look like dominating the headlines for the next week or so, I suppose this was a good time for Gordon Brown to start panicking and sneak this through without anyone noticing.

Well I suppose it makes sense for Labour now they are assured of losing their majority at the next election. Funny how they weren’t so keen when they had their huge majority…

Indeed. When the polls were looking rosey around early September, they would have laughed this off.

Not so funny now, eh Gordon.

Picky Picky Mr Piper, what I wrote was clear in meaning even if a little garbled.

Can`t say the same I was rushed . Bob Labour have seats but they do not currently have votes. The Scottish dispensation cannot be maintained and then they will have to do a deal with the Lib Dems . I have been telling you this for ages
LFAT- In fact prior to that during the first period of “Rosy posey” polls New Statesman was reporting that it was ‘When’ not ‘if’ for an alliance of some sort. The people to be held to account arte the Liberals not Labour they have no choice

So, you are adamant the Tories wouldn’t sell out their anti-european wing to do a deal with the Lib Dems. Boy, you are naive. Look at the so-called ‘progressive partnership in Birmingham where the liberals have propped up Mike Whitless’ regime for 3 years now.

Just to wander off-topic for a second, the Independent isn’t a comic. If it was a comic it would have more scenes of Spider-Man kicking people in the face.
